Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:
Bentek is looking for an experienced professional with a full understanding of electrical engineering. Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution systems is required. Familiarity with systems design and/or fundamental mechanical design principles a plus.
The successful candidate will have the ability to address a range of critical issues with creative and cost effective solutions. This job is well suited for the career-oriented individual. The position will resolve problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires valuation of identifiable and intangible factors.
Candidates will require the ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies to select methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining desired results. This candidate will develop designs, methods and procedures on new assignments and provide guidance to lower level personnel and across functional areas within the company for project direction as required. 5 – 10 years of electrical engineering and related experience required.
The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for leading the development from concept to engineering release of new products, including supervision of professionals and technicians.
The position requires:
Working with an interdisciplinary team to define requirements and scope of new products and translating them into working engineering specifications
Developing and overseeing project schedules and work breakdown structures, including developing vendors and managing contractors
Troubleshooting problems in development, manufacturing and in the field
Creating 2/3D designs and detailed engineering drawings
Performing engineering analysis on designs including stress, vibration, thermal, and flow analysis, using both conventional engineering analysis and simulation
Performing lab testing for verification of designs and overseeing the field testing of new products.
The primary responsibility of the Solar Sales Associate is to identify, qualify and close new solar sales and deepen relationships with targeted customers. Successful candidates will work with company resources to develop winning solutions and engage appropriate resources from cross-functional teams to ensure successful business execution.
Support engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment;
Application may include analog, digital and/or video circuits, and logic systems;
Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions;
Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment;
Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions;
Assists in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment;
Uses, manufacturing, test development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test program oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.
