Custom Manufacturing

Our manufacturing floor is designed to provide maximum flexibility. Whether you need First Article samples or 1000 electro-mechanical devices, we can accommodate your needs. We do this by quickly configuring our manufacturing floor to suit your requirements.

Our equipment - work stations, work benches and test equipment is designed to be portable so we can quickly and easily reconfigure as product manufacturing and test requirements change.

Assembly & Test

Bentek’s approach to process design is to develop a comprehensive, flexible manufacturing environment to ensure that quality products are assembled, tested and delivered on time to our customer.

1. Shop Floor System (SFS)

Bentek utilizes a data collection and tracking system throughout the manufacturing process that allows for configuration control throughout the process with verification to the relevant Bill of Material (BOM). Archival records are maintained should quality issues arise after product shipment.

2. Capacity

This proposal includes the establishment of a manufacturing “cell” which would be dedicated to the customer in support of their program.

Limitations on capacity include test time throughput and the ability to ramp additional shifts, as needed.

3. Configuration Control

Bentek’s Document Control System allows us to manage unique Build to Order / Configure to Order (BTO/CTO) requirements to the unit level providing maximum flexibility for our customers.

4. Functional tests

Tests are performed per specifications provided by the customer. In lieu of test specifications, as a minimum, we perform power up and point to point continuity testing to the limit of the specifications available.
