Protection of Customer Assets
Bentek recognizes the critical importance of protecting customer’s intellectual and physical assets. We have implemented stringent controls to ensure the protection of customer assets.
1. Confidentiality
All Bentek employees are required to sign Employee Proprietary and Confidential Information Agreements when they are hired. This agreement commits each employee to protect proprietary customer, supplier and company information. Employees are not permitted to disclose proprietary information to anyone including fellow employees, except on an absolute need-to-know basis.
All suppliers and customers of Bentek are required to sign a Confidential Non-Disclosure Agreement. These agreements notwithstanding, all necessary precautions are taken to ensure the proprietary information on our customers and suppliers is not disclosed.
2. Security
Bentek is a controlled access facility utilizing a magnetic card access system. Visitors must be escorted by an employee at all times. Fire and intrusion alarms are connected to on-site and central monitoring stations.
The entire facility, including high bay storage, is covered by a wet sprinkler system meeting local code standards.
3. Inventory Control
Bentek places a strong emphasis on controlling and protecting inventory. A strict inventory control program has been implemented. Inventory variances are identified and managed. All inbound and on-hand inventory is fully insured. Outbound inventory is insured as required, depending upon the F.O.B. point.
