Our unique combination of on-site program management by our distribution partners, global sourcing of critical cost drivers and direct purchasing of unique custom components enables us to provide levels of efficiency and cost effectiveness that enable reduced supplier cycle times, cost effective manufacturing costs and faster flexibility to meet customer needs.

Our materials management teams work in two distinct ways to attain significant benefit for our customers. First, our Buyers/Planners focus on individual customer requirements paying particular attention to implementing schedule changes, ECOs and other program variations quickly and efficiently. Second, our commodity teams work across all customer programs to benchmark the market to stay on top of prices, lead times, parts availability, and technology trends. Through their efforts, and our long-term supplier partnerships, we achieve competitive pricing, supply flexibility, and reduced inventory risk.

Bentek has constantly improved its materials organization during the last 25 years and has a fully integrated SCM system to effectively manage the supply chain process. The MRP procedure runs twice a week to reflect the latest updates. Our customers have convenient access to the most flexible and accurate reports via the web based change order management system. Bentek also maintains dock-to-stock programs, continuous tracking of supplier OTD, and quality metrics with over 200-300 active global suppliers.

Logistics

Bentek will assign a Program Manager to manage all aspects of the program. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the Program Manager is the focal point for the customer and is responsible for ensuring total customer satisfaction through on-time delivery, product quality and documentation control – while maximizing flexibility, responsiveness and “owning” the entire supply chain deliverable.
